|
Two Years to go!
Everyone was invited to a Long Lunch with tables down Trafalgar Street, Nelson; in the Richmnond Mall and on Mapua Wharf on 9th day of the 9th month of 2009 (Wednesday 9th September).
Congratulations to the organisers and volunteers who did a tremendous job planning the event and organising massive business involvement on the day.

Rugby World Cup 2011 is expected to bring 60,000 visitors, 2500 media and a global TV audience of more than 4 billion to New Zealand. If Nelson hosts two games the direct economic benefits will be huge and the indirect benefit from the global exposure even greater.
