Regional Issues
The role of this committee is to provide quality information to the Chamber Board and members about regional issues in the Nelson Tasman region, enabling them to maximise their decision making at all levels.
People on this committee will find themselves involved in many different fields; from monitoring local and national government policy to economic issues, from regular communications with local authorities to preparing submissions.

Waimea Business Group
This group is focused on the issues facing business in the Richmond and Waimea Plains area, ensuring such things as appropriate infrastructure and planned growth are in place. It assists the Chamber in making submissions to Tasman District Council.

Nelson Business Group
This committee looks at issues relevant to businesses located in the Nelson City Council boundary. It liaises with Council and stakeholders and assists the Chamber in making submissions to the Nelson City Council.

Tourism Focus Group
The purpose of this group is to assist tourism in the region in terms of issues, rather than marketing. It is not the intention of the Chamber to compete with Latitude Nelson but, as it is an independent body, it can make submissions to Council policies that may affect tourism.
