With over 20 years’ experience, he has assisted businesses operating within primary, secondary and tertiary sectors, specifically covering manufacturing, industrial, defence and aerospace, food and beverage, viticulture, FMCG, automotive, stores, agricultural, fishing, hospitality and office-based services.

He has worked with companies based in the UK, Europe, USA, Australia and NZ. He has run his own successful businesses in both NZ and the UK. Liam has also coached and mentored small businesses in their start-up and growth.

Maranga – Presenter Jon Lasenby

Jon Lasenby of Maranga specialises in the human aspects of business, particularly helping teams and leaders increase their effectiveness, and leveraging this growth to drive an excellent culture. Jon Lasenby was a facilitator of personal and professional development using the outdoors for nearly a quarter of a century before starting Maranga Ltd in Nelson in 2018. After working all over Aotearoa for two years Jon is refocusing Maranga’s business on Te Tau Ihu the Top of the South to increase involvement with the local community and take a more responsible environmental position. Maranga maintains close connections with a network of very skilled facilitators and consultants and can bring excellent teams together for larger projects.

The Alternative Board – Nelson Marlborough – Presenter Alfredo Puche

Alfredo comes from a background in the development of an international renewable energy company based in Spain. He has worked in many disciplines including Engineering, R&D, Production, Sales, Purchasing, HR, Quality Control and IT and has held Board positions for more than 15 years.

In 2016 Alfredo moved to New Zealand where for two years he worked in a management position for an electric equipment manufacturer in Hawkes Bay. He has now chosen to pursue the lifestyle offered by the Nelson Marlborough region and become a business owner with The Alternative Board. In doing so Alfredo will follow one of his passions: helping other Business Owners develop their businesses while maintaining control of the business and their personal goals.

Alfredo holds a Bachelor in Industrial Engineering with a Masters in Electronics and Automation from the Polytechnic University of Valencia in Spain. He recently completed a Bachelor in Computing Systems from the Eastern Institute of Technology, Hawkes Bay.
