Findex BA5: Hosted by FENZ (+AGM)

  • Wednesday 24 July 2024
  • 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
  • Nelson Fire Station, 1 Gloucester Street, Nelson

New Zealand's first volunteer fire services were founded in the 1850s. Since then, firefighting in New Zealand has evolved in line with international standards into the mix of paid full-time, paid on-call and volunteer responders that make up Fire and Emergency New Zealand today.

Join us this month, as we take a peak behind the scenes at the Nelson Fire Station - which is crewed with both 24/7 career firefighters, as well as volunteer firefighters. Career crews work on a shift roster, and volunteers respond when required.

Nelson Fire Station response to a variety of emergencies across the region, such as:

  • Fires
  • Medical emergencies
  • Motor vehicle accidents
  • Search and rescue
  • Civil defence and natural disaster responses

Findex BA5's are always a great opportunity for networking and connecting with fellow industry professionals. Please remember that this event is exclusively open to Chamber Members.
