Findex BA5: Hosted by Hato Hone St John

For over 137 years, Hato Hone St John has been caring for New Zealanders, helping to build strong, resilient communities through a range of programmes and support services. From providing care, comfort, and assistance for those facing health challenges to offering first aid education for all ages, their impact touches lives every day.

Over the past year their ambulance services answered 692,255 emergency calls and treated or transported 539,732 patients, while the Waka Ora Health Shuttles transported people on 89,606 trips to and from medical appointments. Across the motu, more than 133,679 young people participated in youth and schools programmes, learning lifesaving skills, developing leadership confidence, and making a positive difference in their communities.
