We’re excited to invite you to join us as a coach at the upcoming YES Spark Tank event. Part of the Young Enterprise Scheme (YES), this event brings together secondary school students from across the region who are developing innovative business ideas and looking for guidance from experienced professionals like you.
As a coach, your role will be to listen to students’ ideas, provide constructive feedback, and share your expertise to help them take the next step in their entrepreneurial journey.
Coaching at YES Spark Tank is not just a chance to support the next generation of business leaders—it’s also an inspiring and rewarding experience for you. By taking part, you’ll:
- Give Back: Play a key role in fostering the entrepreneurial spirit of young people in your community.
- Gain Fresh Perspectives: Hear bold and creative ideas from the students, offering a unique lens on challenges and opportunities.
- Expand Your Network: Connect with other like-minded coaches and professionals passionate about business innovation and youth development.
Light refreshments provided after the event.

“YES actually teaches students what happens in the big wide world. I would encourage business people to assist this program as a coach or mentor – passing on such intellectual capital is not only personally valuable it is imperative as many students as possible be given such opportunities”. Kenn Butler, Paradise Brokers
“Participating in a YES is often the first introduction rangatahi have to business. And it can be life changing. I loved the experience as a student, and it’s a privilege to be able to support the work now as a Trustee. YES is fun, it’s hard work, insightful, practical, and it’s one of the only programmes I’ve seen that truly opens young minds to the idea that through enterprise and entrepreneurship, they can change the world.” Rachel Taulelei, Kono
“YES lent me the opportunity to explore my passion for business in a construct that traditionally doesn’t accommodate for the learnings, experiences and time required to understand what building a business takes. My role as a young founder developing bleeding-edge technologies in a global market today was afforded by the head-start I took to participate in the business world while still in school“. Rees Vinsen, Previous Student
