During this full-day business planning course, you will have our expert business coaches facilitating discussions and activities, to help you formulate a concise, one-page Business Plan that will act as your guiding map to success. Spaces limited up to 15 local businesses.

Learning outcomes:

- Learn how to set realistic and measurable goals.
- Create clear strategies to achieve your goals.
- Develop a one page Business Plan which will act as a roadmap.
- Craft actionable strategies to achieve your goals.
- How to identify resources needed to support goal attainment.
- How to establish realistic timeframes for achieving objectives.
- How to distinguish short-term wins from long-term vital projects.
- Develop a template for reviewing actual performance against targets.
- Learn how to formulate a platform for financial forecasting. - Know how to set individual goals and targets for team members.

The service will cover:

Discussing and setting both personal and business goals for the next 12 months.
Discussing and agreeing on an action plan with strategies to support achievement of goals.
Identifying Gross Revenue Targets.
Learning about Key Performance Indicators and identifying opportunities and vulnerabilities in a business.
Establishing a 90 Day Action Plan to address immediate critical issues.

Pre-work will need to be completed prior to the session to ensure the business owner/manager identifies any issues that need to be discussed.

Attendees will need to bring a laptop.

The Business Planning Course is registered with the Regional Business Partnership Network (RBPN) and participants may therefore qualify for support for this programme.

Eligibility criteria:

To attend/be eligible for co-funding the customer must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Has less than 50 full time employees
  • Have an NZBN
  • Must be the business owner or person in a key management role, i.e senior managers, in the business.
  • Must register on the RBP Platform and have a discovery meeting with the region’s Growth Advisor

 

Standard cancellation policy applies to paid events/workshops/courses (unless otherwise stated on event listing). Cancellations must be received 7 working days prior to the event. Cancellations after this time and ‘no shows’ on the day will be charged the full invoice amount. Substitutions are permitted if you can no longer attend.
