Mahitahi Tasman Coming Spring 2025
Mahitahi Colab fosters bold and aspirational innovation by fostering entrepreneurial communities and partnerships in a space dedicated for thinkers and doers.
In Spring 2025, Mahitahi Tasman will be opening at 8 Stafford Drive, Māpua, becoming a bespoke co-working space/innovation hub for the area.
By being part of Mahitahi, you'll be plugged into the economic powerhouses of the region via the unique partnership between the Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce, Nelson Regional Development Agency (NRDA) and Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT).

What is the Māpua & Districts Business Hub?
In April 2025, the Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce joined forces with the Māpua & Districts Business Association to continue providing business support and growth opportunities to local businesses through networking, training and promotion.
Recognising the unique business community in the Māpua and surrounding districts, the Māpua Business Hub ensures that the local connections and opportunities remain, while tapping into the wider benefits available through the Chamber.
We will continue to focus on:
- Providing networking opportunities for members to share ideas, successes, plans and to discuss local issues and opportunities.
- Providing training, business support and upskilling opportunities.
- Advocate on behalf of members and local business on issues affecting the area.
- Production of the Māpua Tourist Map, and opportunities for members to advertise and promote their business to the wider community and region.
- To be of service to the Māpua and wider Tasman business community.
