Overview

This Fire Extinguisher training covers the theory and practical elements of fire safety.

Fire extinguisher training is suitable for all workplace roles, from Health & Safety Managers to reception staff.

It is particularly valuable for individuals who have never used a fire extinguisher or been required to put out a fire. The skills gained are highly transferable to a home environment.

A fire is a potential hazard in a place of work and therefore having people adequately trained in the proper use of fire handling & equipment would be a suitable control, to manage that risk.

Attendees will learn;

• The principles & science of fire.
• The classes of fire and fire suppression techniques.
• Use of dry powder fire extinguishers & hose.
• How to use a fire extinguishing medium on a fire.
• How to have the confidence and ability to safely respond to a small fire in the workplace.

Standard cancellation policy applies to paid events/workshops/courses (unless otherwise stated on event listing). Cancellations must be received 7 working days prior to the event. Cancellations after this time and ‘no shows’ on the day will be charged the full invoice amount. Substitutions are permitted if you can no longer attend.
