Are you a business owner, manager, or leader in a retail business? We invite you to join us for an important event that will help shape the government’s response to retail crime in Nelson Tasman.

The Ministerial Advisory Group for Victims of Retail Crime is holding a series of events around the region to gather feedback from local business communities. Retail crime currently costs New Zealand $2.7 billion annually, making this a vital conversation for all retail operators. The Advisory Group has been consulting with business communities nationwide, and now it is our turn. Your insights will directly influence government responses to the increasing challenges faced by retail businesses in our communities.

What to expect:

  • A short presentation by Sunny Kaushal, Chair of the Ministerial Advisory Group, on the Group’s work

  • A Q&A session where you can share your experiences and perspectives

  • Insights into the tools and initiatives being developed to help mitigate retail crime

This is an opportunity for your voice to be heard and to gain a better understanding of the measures being introduced to support retail businesses.
