In 2006 at age 21, Jason Elvines finished his apprenticeship and started up Ace Engineering NZ Ltd and began engineering and manufacturing boats. The DNA brand was launched two years later in 2008. The company now employs five full time production staff and Jason is still hands on in the design and production side of the business as well as sales role accompanied by his wife Melissa.
They also create custom tool boxes and dog boxes and alloy crates. Ace Custom tool boxes are available in aluminium or stainless steel, can be made to your design or theirs and custom fit for utes, trucks and trailers; available in single units or production runs for a fleet.
