  • 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
  • Mahitahi Colab, NMIT A Block, 322 Hardy Street, Nelson, 7010, New Zealand

Presenter: Lucy Byrne, Bluemoth

Overview:

As we have seen, with the recent diesel and petrol costs rise and the impacts this has across all supply chains, many businesses across Nelson and Tasman are feeling the pressure. This session is designed for businesses who want practical, achievable ways to reduce costs, support their people, and stay ahead of the game.

Future-proofing your business for long-term resilience focuses on how small, smart shifts toward renewable energy and more efficient ways of working can make a meaningful difference. From how your team gets to work, to how your business uses energy in day to day operations, there are opportunities to save money while also improving staff wellbeing and future readiness.

You’ll walk away with:

  • Funding opportunities, both locally and nationally
  • Practical changes that can reduce energy and transport costs
  • Ideas to support staff commuting in ways that save them money, improve health and wellbeing, and improve staff retention
  • Insight into how renewable energy options can fit your business now and into the future

As we face uncertainty, it can feel overwhelming but there are actions you can take now to make a difference and protect the longevity of your business operations.
