In this practical session you hand that job to Claude, working in the Claude desktop app with a folder of your own files. You describe the task in plain English. Claude proposes a plan, and with automatic approval switched off, you approve every step before it runs.

By the end of the morning, Claude will have done one real round of your job. You’ll leave with that job set up on your own files, a folder set-up that keeps Claude to the one folder you connect, and four safety rules for letting AI work in your files. You’ll also have a shortlist of the next three jobs to hand over, with a rough estimate of the time each could save.
