Southern Cross Nelson Hospital

Southern Cross Nelson Hospital (SCNH), previously Manuka Street Hospital, is a joint venture with Southern Cross Healthcare Ltd, in partnership with a local group of surgeons and anaesthetists. 

SCNH has been providing surgical services to the Nelson community since the early 1900s and has operated from their Manuka Street site since 1966. 

SCNH is the only accredited private surgical hospital in the region, providing skilled surgeons and modern state of the art theatres and equipment to give Nelson Tasman residents access to the very best in surgical procedures.
