NRDA is the Regional Economic Agency and Regional Tourism Organisation for Nelson Tasman in Te Tauihu o Te Waka-a-Māui. Their purpose is to accelerate economic growth and improve wealth and wellbeing for the people of Nelson Tasman. They do this by supporting collaboration, building capability, and attracting resources, with a focus on increasing regional productivity.

The Nelson Regional Development Agency (NRDA) is the economic development agency for the Nelson Tasman region. They exist to to make a difference to the future prosperity of the Nelson Tasman region through positioning, connecting and promoting the region. They do this by partnering with the public and private sectors in the attraction and retention of talent, visitors and investors who add value to the identity of the extraordinary Nelson Tasman region.
Their three key areas of focus include:
